Nick has to get up early on Saturdays to go to rehearsal for the choir that he is in, so I am up early too. So since I am up early, and it's cold, I definitely felt like a Starbucks run was in order. I feel like I may be becoming a regular at Starbucks. I have 2 very close to me, the one is like 2 minutes away from my house, and I may or may not have gone for the past 3 days and have gotten the same thing. The girl that is always at the register is always so chipper and happy, and it always makes my day better, cause working at Starbucks that early in the morning... I don't know if I would be that happy. But I love Starbucks, and once the holiday season is over I will miss my grande salted caramel hot chocolate and coffee cake, I guess their regular hot chocolate will do, with a shot of caramel ;)
But every time I go to Starbucks, I can't help but think of You've Got Mail and how spot on Tom Hanks is about Starbucks. Just watch here. And here is the infamous quote:
"The whole purpose of places like Starbucks is for people with no decision- making ability whatsoever to make six decisions just to buy one cup of coffee. Short, tall, light, dark, caf, decaf, low- fat, non- fat, etc. So people who don't know what the hell they're doing or who on earth they are, can, for only $2.95, get not just a cup of coffee but an absolutely defining sense of self: Tall! Decaf! Cappuccino!"
It's so true, there are just some people who walk into Starbucks and can't make a decision. And then they order something extravagant. Tall, skinny vanilla latte, soy milk, light, and whatever else they want in their drink. You think how long they are in line for they would be able to make their decision.
But, Starbucks is a wonderful thing, especially in the winter. I love the smell, the atmosphere (great place to do homework) and their delicious bakery items.
So good morning to my lovely grande salted caramel hot chocolate and coffee cake, I think I will go sit in my sweats, cuddled up in a blanket and enjoy my morning.

It sounds yummy!
