july the fourth
Our fourth of July was an eventful day, we actually had quite an eventful weekend! It was perfect. We started it off by hanging out with the Parkers on Saturday, we had a campfire with them and had tons of s'mores! Sunday was our usual routine, but we had our nephew Jeremy sleep over that night so we could all get up early and go save our spot for the Murray parade. So Monday morning Nick and I got up at 4:30 to start getting ready, and we headed out to save our spot. But getting up that early also means breakfast at McDonalds, can't forget about that! We patiently waited for our family to show up and for the parade to start. Finally it was time, the parade was about 2 hours long but it was so fun! I love parades and I love the month of July. Our family also got a wonderful photo op from the Deseret News, you can see the photo here in the photo gallery. After the parade we headed over to Training Table, I'm sure they loved that we came right as they opened with a huge group, haha! But we had fun, and who doesn't love Training Table?? Nick and I then went home for a bit and the headed over to see Nicks mom. We had a fun chat with her and then as we were going outside Erica and her family were leaving to go to the Gateway. Nick and I were planning to go there so we met up with them when we got there. After some shopping Nick and I went to dinner and then caught up with the Parkers to do some fireworks. Over all we had a great 4th of July, and I can't wait for Draper Days next weekend!! What a great month!
