we're moving on up!

Nick and I are moving on up in life, we're moving in about a week into... drum roll please! A double-wide trailer. Yup, yup! We sure are, and we are so excited. My Aunt rents out the trailer she lives next to so we are going to be living there for the next 6 months! This trailer, or as my Aunt calls it "a manufactured home" is quite nice! 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a nice little yard, porch and all for a great price that we just couldn't pass up. I have a cousin living there now, and she is moving up to Idaho to help with her in-laws cupcake store they have. She has 2 dogs and a cat, she can't take the cat with her cause everyone is allergic, soooo she gave us the cat! And we are so excited to finally have a pet! So meet the newest member of the Barfi family, Calliope:

So, next Sunday is our one year anniversary! Time flies, it's crazy. And I kept having a hard time thinking of what to get Nick for it, he's not the greatest at giving me hints as to what he wants, and he always tells me he doesn't want anything. So I'm always stumped on presents for him. But he actually told me a few things he wanted! So on Saturday we moved on up and upgraded our phones! We both now have these beauties:

We have what's called the Droid X. For the longest time Nick did not want to upgrade our phones, and now he is addicted to his phone. And I love mine too, they are great phones and our wonderful friend Todd was able to help us out with them. 

I can't believe it's our one year and I can't wait to have Friday off and celebrate and pull out our top tier of our cake! And hopefully the weather warms up so we can have a nice weekend and go to the zoo! 

Everything else is going just great for us, we are just working away and living life. Work is going well for the both of us, and I'm glad we both have jobs that we love. Nick has been starting to pack up all our stuff so we can just have a quick and easy move. I can't wait to move and be in our new place, it's going to be so nice not worrying about the people above us or below us. And I already know that we have one good neighbor ;) Well, that will wrap it up for tonight, thanks for reading!
