So Valentines day this year wasn't a whole lot for us. I got sent home early from work today cause I was not feeling well, so I have been laying on the couch all day watching Boy Meets World. Nick and I didn't really have anything planned and that's ok. But this morning I woke up to a note on my computer from my cheesey, lovey dovey, and wonderful husband:

As I look back at when we first started dating, (even at the Blink 182 concert dare I say?) I knew that there was something special about you. I knew that we were two halves of a whole. Our personalities just mesh. There are only so many people that stick around after you put on a pair of sunglasses and shout, while making a pretty messed up face, "I'M A ROCKSTAR!!"
2. Confirmations
There are those times when it just hits me. I like to think of those times as my little confirmation that we are meant to be. It also proves to me that I will never, and I mean never stop falling in love with you.
3. The Future
I have always been one that tries to imagine how the future is going to be. Where i am going to live, what I am going to be doing and so on and so forth. I do know that one thing is for certain as I ponder at what life is going to hold in store for me, and that is you. You are my constant in life. I know that fifty years from now, we are going to be side by side, holding hands, and still be in love with each other.
4. The Way You Make Me Feel
No words can describe how I actually feel when I have my arms around you. It doesn't matter if its just giving you a hug, or when you don't feel that well or even after a little argument that we had. There is a certain moment where I have everything I will ever need when you are right next to me, with your head leaning on my chest, and I realize how lucky I truly am.
5. You put up with me
Ok, so its not the best reason or maybe it shouldn't be in the top five, but honestly, it means a lot to me that you stick around. I know that I have my shortcomings, that I am far from perfect, but just knowing that you love me for who I am makes me love you more and more.
So even though I get you a jewelry box that was on clearance for Valentines Day, and that I might not jump on the chance to buy somethings that you ask for, I love you more than meets the eye. My heart belongs to you, and it always will. Please never forget that.

This absolutely made my day, I don't need flowers or chocolates from him, this note and my clearance jewelry box was the best thing ever. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I couldn't live without him. I'm glad that I can just sit at home with him tonight, he went and got me some soup and salad from Paradise Bakery, and rented The Social Network (i love that movie, i don't know why!) and we're just got have a lazy Valentines Day, and that's all I want.
