So we celebrated this weekend and it was wonderful! I started my weekend off by taking Friday off. I met Nick for lunch, then went and got my hair cut by the fabulous Meagan Marz (best hair cut ever!) and then I went and laid out at my pool with Lolly! It was a great day and much needed! Nick and I also went down Los Hermanos in Lindon for dinner, it is one of my favorite mexican restaurants! Saturday we slept in and went to our new little home to get some paperwork and I got to see my little kitty cat, I can't wait to have her for my own! Then we went up to the zoo, it was so fun! Even though it rained on us towards the end, it was still so fun to walk around and see all the animals and see the newest addition, DINOSAURS! They were really neat! We decided to stay the night in a hotel in Salt Lake, we picked the Little America Hotel, it was amazing! Such a nice place for a great price! We went to the pool and laid out for a bit, then we got ready to go to dinner at The Steakhouse that was at the hotel, it was nice and sooo yummy! Then it was time for our presents, Nick got his present a week early cause he wanted a new phone, so I got him a Droid X. Nick spoiled me and got me, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland combo pack, a Downeast gift card, AND the complete series of I Love Lucy!! I was SO excited! I can't wait to start watching them! Then Sunday came, the day of our one year! We checked out of the hotel and went to a place called Finns for breakfast, it's located in Sugarhouse and it's a cute little cafe, it had delicious food and it was a fun place to go! Then our weekend ended by eating the top tier of our cake and watching our wedding video, it was perfect!
I am so happy to have Nick in my life and it was so fun celebrating our Anniversary. I have never been happier and I can't wait to see what eternity brings us! I love you Nick!

ReplyDeleteAwesome! We ate our top tier of our wedding cake on our first anniversary too. Tasted like new! So yummy! Congrats on making it through "the dreaded first year!" (sounds like it was perfect for you two tho!)
