miracles really do happen

hello everyone! so i just have to say that miracles do happen, and dreams do come true! it's sounds so cheesy, but after today this is how i feel!

so lately i have been looking for a new job, a job with more hours, and preferably at a bakery, but really all i needed was some more hours (working 17 hours a week or less just wasn't cutting it.) i have interviewed at a couple places the past few weeks and nothing was coming up, i was starting to get really discouraged and felt like i was never going to find a new job. nick had told his co-workers that i was looking for new employment, one of them told him that i should look at granite bakery. so nick texts me and tells me to call up the bakery. so on monday i actually emailed the bakery telling them i was looking for a new job and that the guys at beacon metals told me to contact them, that same day they emailed me back and said they didn't have any current openings, but when they did they would email me an application. so i was kinda bummed cause i really wanted to work at a bakery like that. so tuesday i got home from work got on the computer to find another email from the bakery, and this is what it said:

Denise,

Thank you for your interest in working at Granite Bakery. We actually had one of our morning shift gals give her two weeks notice to us today so we do have an opening we need to fill. The schedule that is available is Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat 6:30- 2:30 and Thurs 12:00- Close (6:30-7 ish). If this is something that would work for you please let us know. It would be great if you could come into the bakery and fill out an application and talk to Janna. (The best time to come is between 10:00am – 5:00pm).

OH. MY. GOSH. SERIOUSLY?! this was too good to be true! it is the schedule i want, and to have wednesdays off was perfect so i would be able to fulfill my church callings, i was just freaking out at this point, i hopped in my car and went straight to the bakery! i went in and asked for janna, but i missed her by a few minutes, so they gave me an application and told me to come back thursday when she would be in. sooo today i went into the bakery, talked with janna about my culinary experience i've had so far, talked about the job and what i would be doing, and within 10 minutes SHE OFFERED ME THE JOB! i couldn't believe it! i was so excited! i walked out of there like a giddy little school girl! i told nick i would bring him a diet coke after i had gone in and talked to them, but i just couldn't wait! i skipped the diet coke and went straight to his work! i wanted to try to act all sad and tell him i didn't get the job but i couldn't wipe my smile off my face, haha! but he was so excited for me, and this is going to be so good for us!
