"i have a dream..."

so tonight i was thinking about jobs, careers, school etc. i've been looking for a new job lately, i need a full time job, and a job i actually like. i only work 17 hours a week, or less. so i get reeeeally bored on my days off, and this is the time of my life where i can work a full time job. so i've been looking at craigs list, indeed.com, lds.org daily for jobs, and on saturday night i found a job at a little place called "nothing bundt cakes" and they are hiring right now, and this is the type of place i would LOVE to work at, i love baking, i love cake decorating, making cookies, anything! so tomorrow after i get off work i'm going to go apply at this little shop and we'll see where that goes! but this also made me think of my "dream career" that i've always had lingering in the back of my head. i've always wanted to open up like a little bakery, or cafe. but tonight i was thinking of a bakery, but also have little tea parties for little girls and host birthday parties or something... i don't know, it just seems so fun, and it would be something i would love to do, i love baking, i love kids, and it seems like such a rewarding career. but this also will take a lot of thinking, planning, some schooling, and also will take a few years for it to fall into place.
opinions on this would be great, let me know what you all think!!

  1. I think it's an awesome idea! But, good luck with Nothing Bundt Cakes, I applied there when they were hiring once and was super stoked about it, too, but, I think they want experience; but I do wish you much luck! I too have actually wanted to open my own little place. Have a boutique and share with maybe a floral arranger, a photographer, and maybe some food/bakery section and maybe something with kids or knick knacks. I think it would be perfect :)
