i don't know if most of you know the story of how nick and i met, so i'll fill you guys in.
a year ago in june i had bought a ticket for the blink 182 concert with a friend, after paying 80 dollars, we were on our way to the concert september 7th. about a week before the concert, my friend lets me know he got scheduled for work the day of the concert and no one was able to take his shift. so i was left trying to sell his 80 dollar ticket. i asked everyone and no one was really interested, finally i changed my facebook status saying i had an extra ticket to the blink 182 concert and asked if anyone was interested in going, about 2 minutes after i posted that status, nick commented on it and said he wanted to go. i was RELIEVED that someone bought the ticket, and i was also excited to go with nick. about a week before the concert i ran into him at wal mart and we talked about going out to eat before the concert, and then we went our separate ways... i kinda began to wonder if it was a date. but anyways the day finally came, i was so excited! nick came and picked me up and we headed down to orem and went to chili's, we ate dinner, colored chili's, nick made fun of my coloring, and went to the concert, and had a great time! the best concert ever. nick took me home and the night was over (nick was not happy about our goodbye that night, i didn't know if he was going to walk me to the door or not so i kinda just got out of the car and said goodbye)
later that week nick asked me out for that saturday, september 12th. he took me to dinner at geckos, where we colored kids menus, nick teasing me again, and going to the movie theater to get our pictures judged by random strangers, my picture got the most votes! we went and saw the movie "9" where i nearly fell asleep cause i was so tired and wasn't too interested in the movie, but anyways the movie ended and nick took me home and on the way home he said "you know, i don't like playing games" and i'm sitting here thinking "ok.... weird...." and then he says "i like you!" in my head i'm thinking "umm... come again?!?" i couldn't believe how blunt he was!! no one has ever just flat out said they liked me, on the FIRST date! so i proceeded to say "i guess i like people who make fun of me" we got to my house he walked me to the door, hugged me and the night ended.
sunday the 13th, we texted on and off all through out the day, i really was starting to think i did like him, so later that night i went on a drive with one of my friends and talked to him about nick. nick and i were still texting and i told him i was driving around, and he asked if was near sandy, so i told him i could be. so i drove up to his house, we went on a walk, and he had told me he would make it up to me for making fun of me, so we get to my car and asks if he could make it up to me, and right there he kisses me, yes he kissed me. i went home and was kinda freaking out by that point, and didn't know what i was getting into.
but it was a good thing, the next night we hung out and ever since we have been inseparable, out of the year we've been together now, there have been 2 days we haven't seen each other, and now we have been sealed together for time and all eternity. :) i'm so glad i have nick, and i don't know what i would do without him. i'm glad that we went to the blink 182 concert, and that nick "fell in love with the girl at the rock show."
