spring time

Spring has finally sprung!! and I LOVE it! Last week Nick and I had quite the eventful week. We went out every night that week, but we had a blast!
Monday night: We went to provo and went out to dinner with my college roommate and their husbands. It was so fun to catch up with all of them, and share some laughs with them.
Tuesday night: Dinner with... the parents. It was very fun, and our parents finally got to meet one another.
Wednesday night: Dinner with Nick's friend Andreas. Nick knew him from his mission, so it was fun to go with him. he took us to Tucanos, it was so yummy! That was my first time there, and I loved it.
Thursday night: Dinner with Pam. Nick knows Pam from his mission as well, and became very good friends with her and her family. It was so fun to finally meet Pam and have dinner with her, Jenn, Jared, and Erica.
Friday night: Wedding reception, and they served pizza, it was at a bowling alley, so it was more of an open house, it was very fun though!
So that was our week, it was nice cause we had a week of no wedding plans, but of course they came knocking at the door as soon as the week was over with. But our fun with visiting with friends still continued into this week, Sunday night we had dinner with Pam at nicks house, Jenn cooked us a delicious dinner and we had a fun time visiting with everyone again. Yesterday (Monday) we took Pam to Erica's house and had lunch, it was fun for the girls to chat and have all the kids outside to play.
After everyone left, I decided to stay at Erica's house. Erica needed to take a look at her sprinklers and Jessica was there to help her. So the kids are outside playing, and of course Cannon and Dylan think it's a real treat that the sprinklers are on, but they weren't on long enough for them to get really wet. When Erica and Jessica left to go get Jordan from school, I was watching the 2 boys, and to their surprise the sprinklers were left on in the front yard! They had so much fun running through the sprinklers, and they were soaking wet! After every run through the sprinklers they would come to me for a towel so they could dry their hair. They were so cute, and so funny, they would lay down on the towel next to each other laying in the sun to dry off. I loved having some one on one time with 2 of my nephews, it was the perfect day yesterday! And I can't wait for more springy days to come!

me and my nephews!

best buds!
